A Brand New View
One of the first signs of the future waterfront development in downtown Vancouver has appeared! Just south of city hall, construction crews have cleared a path through the railroad berm, opening up a view of the river that hasn't been seen in over 100 years. Eventually, both Esther and Grant streets will run under the railway, connecting downtown and the waterfront development.

Just down Highway 14, the Washougal Motocross Park will host the first Spartan Race to be held in the Pacific Northwest. If you're feeling brave, come on out and attempt the course consisting of mud, trails, and an obstacle course. Or, if you prefer, come out just to watch others attempt the course!
